Meet the successful CMO who shares Electroneum’s vision to make the world a better place
Introducing the successful CMO of Electroneum who shares the vision to transform the world into a better place.

For over 10 years, Conor Doyle had a hugely successful career in the advertising industry, developing highly successful and innovative campaigns worth of hundreds of millions of dollars for major multinational corporations, including for the likes of Sony, Unilever and MINI. Throughout his career, he drove innovation in advertising, communications and brand planning.

His unique ideas have made waves within every industry he worked. He was instrumental in blueprinting the communicative evolution of many companies, introducing commercially powerful innovations, which both excited the customer and the finance directors.

However, Conor felt he wanted more. He wanted to make a “make a positive difference around the world.” At that time, he became fascinated with emerging technologies and learned of Electroneum and how they were disrupting in already disruptive world by developing products aimed at giving people in developing countries an opportunity to improve their lives.

Q: When and why did you decide to join Electroneum?

After taking a career break to go back and study fine art I was looking for an exciting opportunity to dig my teeth into. When deciding on this opportunity, I had two criteria:

  1. It must be truly disruptive, while at university I was witnessing the growth of all these great brands which were merging awesome technology with intuitive human delivery.
  2. It must be looking to make a difference in this world. I wanted to wake up every day knowing that I was not just going work, I was working with a brand, a company and all the people in it who were trying to make a difference in this world

Q: Why do you believe Electroneum can make a big difference to people in developing countries?

  1. There is a need for crypto in the developing world. First-world nations are brimming with resources. In developing communities, there are a variety of problems. Electroneum is tapping into this need with ETN Rewards and even more so with the launch of Any Tasks.
  2. There is a surging need at Electroenum to create products which can make a difference. $3 may not seem like a lot to many people, but consider this, in certain regions within South Africa, people earn $30 a month. Thus, $3 worth of ETN can make a huge difference. By adding AnyTasks into the mix, a person earning $30 a month can sell 3-4 digital tasks every month, which could bring in an additional $15 – $20. This will have a positive effect on people’s lives.
  3. And there is a drive to keep learning [here at Electroneum] so that we can create disruptive products. Our ambition and drive is to keep developing, growing and designing better products and incentives, so we can further enhance the lives of people who need it the most.

Q. Why do you believe Electroneum can make a big difference to people in developing countries?

Three words come to mind: need, want and drive.

  1. There is a need for crypto in the developing world. For the most part, we have everything we need most days. In developing communities, they do not. Electroneum is tapping into this need with ETN Rewards and even more so with the launch of Any Tasks.
  2. There is a want here at Electroenum to create products which can make a difference. $3 in ETN Rewards may not seem like a lot to many people, but consider this, in South Africa in many areas, people earn $30 a month, so this ETN can start to make a difference. Let’s add AnyTasks into the mix and that person earning $30 a month can sell at least two digital tasks a month. That could mean about US$15 additional, which will have a positive effect on people’s lives.
  3. And there is a drive to keep learning [here on Electroneum] so that we can create the most disruptive products. Our ambition and drive are to keep developing, growing and making better products and incentives, so we can further enhance the lives of people who need it most

Q: Can you expand a bit on AnyTasks and TaskSchool?

AnyTasks is our customer-centric, super-easy to use freelancer platform, which will enable people in the developing world to both learn [through our non-profit e-learning platform TaskSchool] and earn [by employing their digital skills] and all of this is possible without the need of a bank account. This last point means we’re now enabling those who have been financially excluded to take part and earn from the ever-growing digital economy.

For those interested in purchasing freelance tasks, you will be able to pay for these with a credit or debit card. So, while the buyer pays using local currency, the seller seamlessly receives the payment in ETN with no fees linked to the transaction. Our merchant programme will open more and more locations accepting ETN payments after its launch in Q1 2020. We’re creating a real-world ecosystem that will empower people…

Quite simply Electroneum is creating an environment which enables people to work more, earn more and ultimately live more.

Q. Do you believe Electroneum can again be a top 50 cryptocurrency? If so, why?

We already are, on so many levels. If you look at the top 100 cryptos, 66% of the cryptos don’t even have a product. Look at everything I have listed above. We’re in for the long haul, we’re creating products to sustain this business well into the future, we’re creating a business [and crypto] for people who need it. I think the father of Blockchain Dr Scott Stornetta said,

“I think Bitcoin was a brilliant piece of work, but it was sort of a solution looking for a problem. In contrast, Electroneum is piggybacking an abstract unit of currency onto ETN directly into something has intrinsic value, which combined is the idea of a gig fair [AnyTasks] ecosystem, which provides a question for which your cryptocurrency is the answer.”

Q: Where do you see yourself and Electroneum within the next five to 10 years?

The world is changing fast. Yes, we need to have visions; both personal and corporate, but we must also be nimble enough to take advantage of change. But to answer your crystal ball question, I can see the team and I based on locations in Africa or South America or Asia. We have been growing there for three to six months already.
