LGBTQ Cinema Introduces ‘The Color Rose’ – Globetrotter Pictures

The Mammoth Film Festival™ is promising to be one of the biggest film events of the year.  With a lineup that includes;

The Undead Series’ starring Gary Oldman, the world premiere of Tony Hawk’s ‘Pretending I’m Superman’, and the never before seen Quentin Tarantino documentary, ‘QT8: The First Eight’ and the edgy cult thriller ‘The Color Rose’ .

The Color Rose’ breathes new life into young adult female-driven content, with three female writers, a female director, seven female leads and five female producers. Writer-Director Courtney Paige (The Arrangement, Butterscotch) has teamed up with Executive Producer Courtenay Semel, a longtime LGBTQ advocate. The film, features a love story, between two high school girls, who grew up in a religious cult. ‘The Color Rose’ is Ms. Semel’s introduction into LGBTQ cinema.

Premieres featuring the biggest names in Hollywood with so many huge premiere movies featured at the Mammoth Film Festival, it’s hard to keep up with all of the stars and talent that will be in attendance, some of the most exciting offerings include: The much anticipated ‘Now is Everything’ produced by two-time Academy Award-nominated cinematographer, Dante Spinotti (LA Confidential), co-directed by first-time feature film directors Riccardo Spinotti and Valentina De Amicis, starring Anthony Hopkins, and Madeline Brewer.

The world premiere screenings including Camilla Belle’s ‘Phobias’ starring Macy Gray, Deported featuring Andy Dick, retired NFL player Rob Gronkowski, Missi Pyle (The Artist), Brenda Strong (13 Reasons Why), and Robert Davi, and the indie action-thriller ALONE starring Jules Willcox (Bloodline) Marc Menchaca (Ozark).

Peter Facinelli’s (The Twilight Saga) world premiere of Hour of Lead features stars Thomas Jane (The Expanse), Anne Heche (Six Days Seven Nights), and Jason Patric (Wayward Pines). The Deported, a documentary from Pat McGee and Rosario Dawson, the short comedy Adult Night starring Lesley-Ann Brandt (Lucifer) and Kevin Alejandro (Arrow), the world premiere of The Tattooed Heart starring Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon a Time).

Written and directed by Courtney Paige with the co-writers Erin Hazlehurst and Madison Smith. With award-winning producer, Siena Oberman (SkinMainstreamCrypto) and Hanna Griffiths (American Cherry, Macbeth, Underbelly) seven-time recognized cinematographer, Stirling Bancroft (FreaksColonyLost in Space). Neon Cinema Films, based out of Kelowna BC, handled the service production. The movie was created by the founder of GLOBETROTTER PICTURES, Courtney Paige, in partnership with Steven Richmond, Rylan Oleksyn and Nicholas Adam Clark.
